ThistleThe Thistle, Brighton is a large seafront hotel situated right on a lively promenade, 100 meters from the fun and games of the pier and adjacent to the main shopping area. The 208 guestrooms have a bright décor with carpeted floors and coordinated soft furnishings. All include satellite television, dial-up internet connections, coffee and tea making facilities, minibars and trouser presses.
The Thistle guests can dine in the informal Brighton modern restaurant, enjoy light meals and snacks in the airy central atrium lounge, or a late night drink in the bar. Those looking to keep fit can head for the leisure center with its indoor pool, gym, sauna and solarium.
The hotel also has a hairdressing salon and two health and beauty treatment rooms for guests who want to pamper themselves before a night out, and business guests can make use of the 12 air conditioned meeting rooms, the largest of which seats 300 people. For those arriving by plane, gatwick airport is 35 miles away and has frequent direct trains to Brighton.
