Situated in edinburgh's old town, the Knight Residence is within reach of virtually every key business, sightseeing and shopping destination in town. This property is 11 kilometers from edinburgh airport, and can be easily reached via the airport shuttle bus, which stops at shandwick place, 300 meters from the Knight Residence edinburgh. Alternatively, taxis are available from a taxi stand adjacent to the terminal building. Located 250 meters from edinburgh castle, the royal mile and the scotch whisky heritage centre, the Knight Residence is also within reach of edinburgh's main high street shopping thoroughfare, princes street, which is 800 meters from the hotel.
Families can appreciate several features of the hotel designed with them in mind. Children 18 years and under stay as complimentary guests of their parents, and childcare and babysitting services are available on site. Separate living and sleeping quarters give adults and children distinct space. High-quality cots are available with the hotel's compliments, and a minimum of two televisions per room doubtless resolves many a family row.

The Knight Residence allows travelers the opportunity to explore their interests in the on-site book and video library, which features many films suitable for young viewers.

Complimentary continental breakfast is offered to guests on their first morning, along with a welcome pack of teas, coffees, milk, biscuits and washing and dishwasher powder.

The Knight Residence accommodations, each a proper apartment, are decorated in contemporary style, with color schemes in red, blue and green. Tiled kitchen are fully outfitted with stovetops, ovens, microwave ovens, refrigerators, washing machines and dryers and cooking and dining utensils. Bathrooms have power showers, bathtubs, heated towel rails and designer toiletries. All apartments have internet connections, bathrobes, cd players and multi-line telephones.

There will be no disruption to hotel services, but there will be noise disturbance. Construction work will be performed monday through friday from 8 a.M. To 6 p.M. Please note that superior one bedroom apartment and superior studio apartment rooms overlook the construction site.
