hotel features. called the Scotsman Hotel because it once housed the victorian offices of the Scotsman newspaper, the Hotel was restored and converted in 2001. Original period features blend with contemporary art and furniture in the oak-panelled lobby.
North bridge brasserie's marble pillars and wood panelling are complemented by a dramatic steel floor and staircase. It offers street-side views and an eclectic menu. The vermilion is a smaller, more formal restaurant with a fine-dining menu including wild sea bass with yukon gold puree. The drawing room is ideal for a quiet nightcap.
There are 11 meeting rooms for up to 100 people, business services and wireless internet access throughout (surcharge).
The Scotsman Hotel's health club features a spa with five rooms offering a variety of treatments using cowshed products (surcharge). There is a 15-metre indoor pool complete with slate-tiled surround, and a large fitness room. The Scotsman Hotel also has an aerobics studio, sauna, steam room and solarium.

The N22 Night Bus Runs Between Midnight And 4 A.M. Taxis Wait At A Rank Next To The Terminal, And Cost Approximately 10 Gbp-20 Gbp To The City Centre, Depending On Traffic And Time Of Day. Waverley, Edinburgh's Main Railway Station, Can Be Reached By Bus Or Taxi. Regular Trains Leave Waverley For Glasgow And Most Major Destinations Throughout Scotland And England.
