Property description - as of 1 july 2007, all public areas in Browns Hotel are non-smoking. Set in the heart of mayfair, Browns is one of the most historic Hotels in london. Founded in 1837 to provide genteel accommodation for discerning people, Browns has always had an air of exclusivity and refinement the renowned maitre d angelo maresca will welcome guests to Browns grill, which will serve simple english fare with an international flavor. The restaurant has a bright, airy ambience, thanks to whitewashed wood paneling, 1930s design features and banquette booths which provide both privacy and space for diners. The Hotel interior combines a blend of modern comforts, contemporary style and classic english excellence, creating a discrete and intimate country-house atmosphere. The Hotel also features state of the art gym, spa treatment rooms, six function rooms for meetings of up to 120 people, as well as a fully equipped business centre.
