location. the Grove is located in chandler's cross, three miles from rickmansworth, england. Knebworth house is 22 miles away and london's west end is 23 miles distant. Watford junction, the nearest train station is four miles from the hotel.
hotel features. set in 300 acres of parkland, the Grove is housed in an 18th-century manor house, leading down to a walled garden encircling an outdoor pool, two tennis courts, a croquet lawn, and a private beach with volleyball court, beach bar, and designer beach huts. At the sequoia spa, guests can exercise in the fitness room, cool off in the hydrotherapy pool, and relax with a sauna, steam bath, and range of beauty treatments. The hotel offers complimentary onsite parking and further amenities include a multilingual concierge and 24-hour room service.

The Grove offers three dining options: colettes opens onto a terrace area with estate views and serves modern british dishes; the contemporary glasshouse is finished with modern chandeliers and floor to ceiling glass walls and offers british, mediterranean and asian dishes; and the informal, rustic stable restaurant, overlooks the golf course and serves wood-fired pizzas, salads and speciality fish dishes.
