Location. The Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel is a boutique style hotel opened in 2006 and set in a leafy square in London's exclusive Knightsbridge district. It is one block from the designer stores of Sloane Street, and 800 metres from the King's Road, known for its trendy shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. London Heathrow Airport (LHR) is 15 miles away with an approximate driving time of 45 minutes.
Hotel Features. Guests of the hotel can relax and sample the various cocktails and wines in the contemporary Mimosa Bar, or take advantage of the 24 hour room service. The adjacent Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel offers guests complimentary access to the Peak Health Club and Spa where they can work out in the gym, swim in the indoor pool or unwind in the steam room or sauna.

The Mimosa Restaurant at the Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel offers a full English or buffet breakfast (surcharge) each morning and is open for lunch and dinner serving Mediterranean cuisine from an à la carte menu accompanied by an extensive wine list. Seating on the outdoor terrace is available when weather permits.

Directions

Getting there. Taxis are readily available from the arrivals terminal and cost approximately GBP 60 to get to the hotel. Alternatively, guests can take the Heathrow Express train from the airport to get into central London. There is also a Tube connection from Heathrow to Knightsbridge station (Piccadilly line), two blocks from the hotel.

Driving directions. From Heathrow Airport, follow the signs for the M4 to London and the A4. Continue straight ahead until you get to Knightsbridge. Turn right at the end of Brompton Road onto Sloane Street. Then turn left on Cadogan Place and left again onto Lowndes Street on which the hotel is located.
