The Grand At Trafalgar Square

Location. The Grand at Trafalgar Square is a recently restored Victorian hotel first built in 1887 and located just off Trafalgar Square, a focal point of central London; the National Gallery, Covent Garden and theatre district are within three blocks' walk. London Heathrow Airport is 25 miles away with an approximate driving time of 60 minutes.
Hotel Features. Guests can begin the day with breakfast in the hotel restaurant (surcharge) and make use of the complimentary wireless Internet service available throughout the property. The gym provides active guests with a place to work out after sightseeing in central London. Coffee is available in the lobby. Room service is offered and other amenities include safe deposit boxes and a dry cleaning service. Parking is available two blocks away (surcharge applies).

Guestrooms. The Grand at Trafalgar Square offers 63 air conditioned guestrooms spread over eight floors. All have high ceilings, opulent windows, and historic features whilst beds come with fine linens and pillow top mattresses. Other amenities include flat screen cable TV with a pay movies service, complimentary wireless and broadband Internet, direct dial telephones, hair dryers, and tea and coffee makers.

Expert Tip. The South Bank Centre is just across the river from the hotel and the area boasts an array of entertainment and dining options for visitors as well as cruises on the River Thames. Guests can take a pleasant walk along the River to the Tate Modern, Shakespeare's Globe and the London Eye.
