hotel features. opened in 1931, the Hotel San Carlos Downtown Convention Center is the only historic boutique Hotel in the phoenix area. Lobby décor preserves the Hotel's historic past with polished wood floors, chandeliers and floor-to-ceiling mirrors. Street-front shopping directly outside the lobby includes a men's apparel shop, barber shop, gift shop and shoeshine/repair shop. The Hotel includes a third floor outdoor pool and sundeck surrounded by potted plants, globe streetlights and cushioned lounge chairs. The copper door steakhouse serves traditional american cuisine with a southwestern flare for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Seamus mccaffrey's irish pub & restaurant is open for lunch and dinner while silver spoon cafe offers weekday breakfast and lunch. Happy hour is offered at the copper door saloon, featuring two 46-inch flat-panel lcd televisions.
