Through its beginning as a 19th century gold boomtown, Auburn's future was assured by the building of the transcontinental railroad. Today, guests can see styles historic buildings range from queen anne, eastlake, craftsman, wpa modern and the placer county courthouse. Guests may pan for gold at the gold country museum, tour wineries or go rafting in the american river. This 36-room motel offers a swimming pool, meeting/banquet facilities, a safe deposit box and a spa/fitness center. Each guestroom has an am/fm alarm clock, cable tv and coffeemaker.
