When Disneyland® park first opened in 1955, Autopia was one of the 20 original attractions. When the Autopia cars first took to the road, they captured America's fascination with the latest transportation innovation, the "freeway." Adults and children alike could experience the thrill of driving in their own cars. Today, Autopia readies itself for a new generation of drivers with new cars, new roadways, and an experience of viewing the world as seen by the cars themselves. Presented by Chevron, this remodeled attraction is filled with humor and offers new interactive surprises! So get behind the wheel of "Suzy," a cute coupe; "Dusty," an off-road vehicle; or "Sparky," a stylish sports car. You'll experience the world from a car's perspective, cruising the unique roadways of Autopia. The new route takes you around curves, over bridges, and through a "Car Park." You'll even find yourself navigating your car off-road. So don't miss the excitement when the checkered flag is waved once again and Autopia literally puts you back in the driver's seat.
