The Hawthorn Suites San Diego is located in mission valley's hotel circle directly off interstate 8. The hotel is also situated eight miles from both San Diego international airport, downtown and one mile from fashion valley shopping center. The Hawthorn Suites is within minutes of many San Diego attractions as well as major shopping centers, restaurants, movie theaters, golf course and other entertainment. At Hawthorn Suites, guests can wake up to a daily complimentary hot breakfast buffet, fresh brewed coffee and complimentary newspapers in the lobby each morning. In the evening, guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary "happy hour" monday through thursday from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm for guests 21 years and older.
