Location. The Hard Rock Hotel San Diego is located in San Diego, Calif. The hotel overlooks the Gaslamp Quarter, historic stomping grounds of Wyatt Earp. San Diego Convention Center stands adjacent to the hotel, and PETCO Park is one block away. The hotel is located two miles from San Diego International Airport.
Hotel Features. Designed by architect Graham Downes, the hotel's interior sports ultra modern décor in vibrant colors. A social platform, the rooftop pool deck is surrounded by landscaped gardens. The poolside Moonstone Lounge offers private cabanas furnished with leather seating, flat screen televisions and minibars. Opium beds surround the lounge's fire pits. On the main floor, the casual Sweetwater Saloon offers a casual spot to enjoy sports entertainment on flat screen televisions. MaryJane's coffee shop presents retro modern style and serves American fare such as LA sticky buns and burgers. Renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa's signature eatery presents nouveau Japanese flavors like Lobster with Wasabi Pepper Sauce and Black Cod with Miso. Woodstock, an open air event space, hosts up to 900 guests for parties and special events. The Rock Spa, a full service health spa, serves up Champagne Cocktail Body Soaks.

Guestrooms. True to the hotel's modern vibe, guestroom decor utilizes bold color and design. Specially designed lighting systems set the mood even the beds glow with halo illumination. Beds sport the hotel's signature "Sleep Like a Rock" bedding collection featuring 300 thread count cotton bedding. Forty two inch flat screen televisions, video game systems and jack pack technology provide entertainment. Rooms also supply wireless Internet access. Bathrooms sport ceiling mounted rain showers. Suites set the party scene, featuring open floor plans and refreshment centers stocked with spirits, margarita kits and snacks.

Expert Tip. Sweetwater Saloon sports tableside beer taps. The self serve taps allow patrons to sample Sweetwater's selection of beers without getting up from the table.
