Location. The Best Western Americania is located one block from the BART light rail system in San Francisco, Calif. The Westfield San Francisco Centre, positioned two blocks from the hotel, is a modern shopping complex that opened in September 2007.
Hotel Features. Three separate courtyards divide the property into sections. Custom Burger Restaurant serves American fare in a casual setting, and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The adjacent Custom Lounge boasts 80s cool ambience with ice blue color schemes and retro fittings. A separate lobby level lounge houses two computer stations, a fireplace and faux suede chairs. Complimentary wireless Internet access is provided throughout the hotel. Two function rooms accommodate up to 100 people. Guestrooms. The four story Best Western Americania offers 143 guestrooms renovated in late 2007. The style is 80s hip, with modernistic vinyl chairs, plastic orange glass topped tables, white plastic and chrome desks, and green and black checkerboard patterned carpets. Rooms offer flat panel televisions and iPod connections. Refrigerators are available on request for a fee. High speed wired and wireless Internet access is complimentary.

Expert Tip. Popular Market Street is located one block from the hotel. Turn right from the hotel and right again onto Market Street. A wealth of eclectic restaurants and clubs are a stroll away.
