In the midst of the majestic Rocky Mountains, the Country Boy Mine was one of the largest and most famous gold mines in Breckenridge.
Today you can visit and venture into a real gold mine at this historic and restored mining site. Join us on a guided adventure over 1,000 feet in to the a century old, authentic gold mine. Wear a hard hat, hear the drills and learn about Colorado's glorious mining history. After your tour, your guide will teach you how to pan for GOLD in Eureka Creek in the summer or inside by a cozy stove in the winter. Take your riches home with you. A great Colorado souvenir. For winter fun, we offer dinner, scenic and private sleigh rides drawn by powerful Draft horses.
