John Walters House

The John Walters House is located in Denver, Colo., six blocks from City Park, which houses the Denver Zoo and Denver Museum of Natural History. The hotel sits across the street from the 18 hole City Park Golf Course. Downtown Denver, Colo., and the Cherry Creek Shopping Center are within three miles.
This red brick, Italianate style home was built in 1886. The house's original owners were entrepreneurs, and are said to have owned the first Denver home to be wired with electricity. The home is complemented by tall trees and a garden with a fountain. Complimentary Scottish breakfasts are served daily in the dining room or garden. The first floor of the mansion houses a small salon, library and the dining room. High ceilings, framed mirrors, artwork and wooden accents are featured throughout the house. Laundry facilities are available. Pets are not allowed on this property.
