SheratonLocation. Located on Clearwater Beach, perfectly nestled between the Gulf of Mexico and Tampa Bay. 12 miles west of St. Petersburg/Clearwater International Airport and 21 miles west of Tampa International Airport.
Hotel Features. Experience Rusty's Bistro, where award winning cuisine is a tradition or bring the whole family to the Island Grill for a relaxed, family oriented atmosphere. Considered a premier meeting destination, Sheraton Sand Key offers more than 24, 000 square feet of meeting space including a grand ballroom. An equipped business center provides busy executives with high speed Internet access, a laptop work area and two computers with Microsoft Office Suite software. Ideal for sunbathers, Sheraton Sand Key Resort spotlights a pool area nestled between white sand and lush greenery. Guests can enjoy a game of beach volleyball or speed through the sea in a rented watercraft. The Suncoast Fitness Center enables guests to fit in a workout along with massages, facial treatments. The resort's tennis center offers three all weather courts and a daily schedule of teaching programs designed for both amateurs and advanced players. Less active guests might choose to scan the surroundings from a poolside cabana while enjoying tropical delights from the outdoor Turtle Bar. A Summer Kid's Camp provides beach and pool activities for children ages 5 12.
Guestrooms. The Sheraton Sand Key has 390 rooms including 15 suites located on the 8th floor. All rooms are equipped with a 37" flat screen TV, pay for view movies, cable TV, coffee maker, voice mail, speaker phone, in room video folio review and checkout, iron and ironing board and private balcony. Guestrooms have wireless or wired high speed Internet access available for a nominal charge. Wireless Internet access is available in all public areas, including conference rooms, restaurants and by the pool. Suites include a 42" flat screen TV and living room sofa features a sofa bed.
Expert Tip. Guests enjoy live jazz piano at Rusty's Bistro in the resort, Tuesday through Saturday evenings.
