Remember to bring your camera, but don't worry: If you forget, cameras, film and batteries are always available for purchase in the Park. Be sure to bring water and sun screen. Having a poncho, umbrella or light raincoat might be a good idea, too. Remember to drink plenty of liquids during your visit. Bring your e-mail address list. You can e-mail messages, pictures and video clips to family and friends back home from Mission: SPACE and from Imageworks at the Imagination Pavilion.
Adults with youngsters too small to ride may take turns riding an attraction. There is no need to wait in line twice. Ask a Cast Member for details. Don't forget to bring your autograph book! Look for the double decker bus carrying your favorite characters throughout the Park. Special "behind the scenes" tours are available at the Magic Kingdom® Park, Epcot® and Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. Just call 407-WDW-TOUR for reservations and details.
Many Disney Cast Members are fluent in more than one language. The flags on their nametags indicate which languages they speak. Disney character merchandise is available in gift shops throughout Future World and International Gateway. Check the Epcot® Times Guide for show times and Park hours. Look for the Disney photographer at the entrance to the Park to get that magical memory of your day at Epcot®. ATMs at Epcot® are located on the east side of the Entrance Plaza, on the path between Future World and World Showcase, and near Germany. You can exchange currency at Guest Relations or at the American Express Travel Office on the west side of the Entrance Plaza.
Families with young children shouldn't miss the Kidcot Fun Stop activity centers located around World Showcase. The kids will have a chance to do hands-on activities and ask questions as you visit each country. For a full-service meal, make priority seating arrangements when you arrive at the Park at either Guest Relations or the desired eatery. Or make advance plans by calling 407-WDW-DINE (939-3463). Check the tip board at Innoventions Plaza, behind Spaceship Earth, throughout the day for the current wait times for the most popular attractions at the Park. Be sure to keep your ticket and have your hand stamped upon exiting the Park if you wish to return later the same day.
Measure your child's height before you arrive at the Park so you know which attractions he or she is able to ride. If your party decides to split up, remember to set a meeting place and time. But try not to pick any place too trafficked or it may be difficult to find your party. Study a map of the Park prior to your arrival to become familiar with the location of the attractions you are most interested in. Take advantage of Disney's FASTPASS® Service. Simply slip your Park Pass into the FASTPASS machine to receive an assigned return time and enjoy the rest of the park while Disney's FASTPASS saves your place in line. With so much to see and do at the Walt Disney World® Resort, we encourage you to wear casual clothes and comfortable shoes.
