The National Hotel

Location. The restored National Hotel is located in the South Beach Art Deco district of Miami Beach, Fla., and stands half a block from Lincoln Road and two blocks from Miami Beach Convention Center.
Hotel Features. The hotel lobby features Art Deco décor and richly designed wood furnishings. The concierge desk is a precise replica of the original. The hotel's Art Deco theme extends to the eateries. Tamara, which is dedicated to Art Deco artist Tamara de Lempicka, presents French fusion steak, seafood and lamb entrées. D'Lounge offers an extensive specialty drinks menu. The Aqua Bar serves poolside grilled fare, cocktails and specialty rums. The historic Oval Room boasts a vintage 1939 chrome chandelier and accommodates 100 guests, while additional function facilities are equipped to accommodate smaller groups. A full time production department coordinates fashion, music video, television and film shoots. The National Hotel houses two outdoor pools, including one of the most photographed pools in the world. This infinity pool extends 205 feet in length and is surrounded by tropical foliage. A fitness center contains free weights, a stationary bike, a treadmill, a stair machine and a weight station.

Guestrooms. The non smoking, 11 story National Hotel offers 150 guestrooms equipped with wired and wireless high speed Internet access, DVD players, VCRs, and satellite television. Select accommodations afford Atlantic Ocean, pool or garden views. Décor highlights include modern light toned wood furnishings. Beds feature pillowtop mattresses and 300 thread count, European designed sheets. Bathrooms contain bathrobes and slippers, and are stocked with Damana French toiletries.
