Location. The South Seas Hotel is located in the popular South Beach area amid popular nightclubs, restaurants and shops in Miami Beach, Fla. The hotel opens to a private beach and is two blocks from the Miami Beach Convention Center. Two blocks from the hotel sits the pedestrian only Lincoln Road Mall.
Hotel Features. The South Seas Hotel features a small lobby area with Art Deco inspired furniture and artwork, fresh flowers, and large mirrors. Vintage black and white photographs of sunbathers line a hallway leading to the restaurant, Pilikia by the Pool, and a sandy beach area with hammocks strung between palm trees. The hotel offers complimentary expanded continental breakfasts. The Polynesian themed Pilikia by the Pool offers lunch and dinner within a tropical setting. Poolside food and beverage service is available. The café offers a location for private parties and accommodates up to 600 people. The hotel includes a business center and a conference room. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available. Discount passes are provided for the Crunch fitness center four blocks from the hotel.

Guestrooms. The South Seas' 111 guestrooms offer fresh flowers daily. Contemporary decor includes richly toned wooden furniture. Ivory bedding with white duvets are accented with custom wooden headboards. Rooms feature flat screen televisions with complimentary premium channels. Wireless Internet access is available. White tile bathrooms feature pedestal sinks and Gilchrist and Soames toiletries.

Expert Tip. Directly behind the South Seas Hotel, separating the pool area from the beach, is an expansive hammock park where rows of hammocks are lined up. Balance beams are located within the park as well.
