Enjoy high speed race car thrills at over 150 mph.

Experience real life racing thrills by riding shotgun in a 2-seat stock car driven by one of our professional instructors for a simulated 3-lap NASCAR qualifying run at speeds exceeding 150 MPH. The Ride-Along program is operated at over 20 locations and starts one hour after the start of each driving class.

1. Available: Daily 9 am - 4 pm
2. Duration: 1 hr. Safety class plus 3 lap ride.
3. After you purchase tickets from us: Ride-Alongs are available on a first come, first serve basis. Reservations are not required. Ride-Alongs are normally available on the same days as driving experiences and begin one hour after the start of each driving class.
4. Please show up 1 hr early and follow signs to the media center at the track.
5. We suggest you wear a loose fitting t-shirt, shorts and comfortable socks and sneakers, bring a change of clothes.

Your hands are on the wheel, your foot is on the gas, and you're in the driver's seat for 8 laps around the speedway in a 358 cubic inch V-8 NASCAR style racecar that roars with 600 horsepower. Prior to driving, students will go through 2 elements of safety and instruction training, in-car and on-track instruction. After driving like the "King", students will receive a graduation packet that includes a time sheet with a breakdown of each lap driven.

10 minutes - Orientation and Video Meet the RPDE staff and watch a short video.

20 minutes - On-Track Instruction in RPDE Van Master the track driving line, accel/ decel points and more.

20 minutes - In-Car Instruction and Photos View the interior equipment; Have your photo taken outside the car.

10 minutes - Mandatory Driver's Meeting This is the time to ask any questions and get the driving order.

2 - 4 hours - Driving Experience (Exact time varies by experience.)

15 minutes - Closing Ceremony Receive your lap-time sheet and graduation certificate

1. Available: Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun, 8 am or 1 pm. Participants should arrive 30 minutes prior to their schedules driving time so RPDE staff can check you in, take your completed Liability Waiver and Medical Form and assign you a driving suit.
2. Duration: 2 - 4 hrs.
3. After you purchase tickets from us: We will send two emails. One confirms the purchase of your discount tickets. Second email confirms your reservation.
4. Please show up 0.5 hr early, the liability release form is 3 pages long (you are not responsible for damage to the car). Follow signs to the media center at the track.

Get ready to advance to a higher level of confidence in your driving ability and take on increased speeds. This program consists of 2 power packed sessions, 8 laps of rip roaring power and 10 laps of increased speed and excitement. Prior to driving, students will go through 2 elements of safety and instruction training, in-car and on-track instruction. Between your driving sessions, drivers will receive one-on-one feedback from the Pit Road Instructor, as well as additional instruction from the on-track driving instructors. After your two driving sessions, students will receive a graduation packet that includes a time sheet with a breakdown of each lap driven.

Think you can handle 30 laps of white-knuckled, heart pounding speed? Taming the speedway in 3 driving segments allows you to improve your driving line, increase your speed and encourages the idea that you may change careers in this, the ultimate half-day driving experience.
