Look for the FASTPASS® distribution area near the entrance of an attraction
Check the FASTPASS® "Return Time" display which gives you a span of time during which you can explore the Park before returning to board the attraction.
If the Return Time is sufficient for your plans, just insert your Walt Disney World® Resort admission ticket, readmission ticket or Annual Passport into the machine.
A FASTPASS® ticket will emerge with your Return Time printed on it. Now you're free to go and enjoy the rest of the Park. Go back to the FASTPASS® Return queue when your return time rolls around, show your FASTPASS® ticket to Cast Member at the entrance, and enjoy the attraction with a minimal wait.
Remember to bring your camera, but don't worry: If you forget, cameras, film and batteries are always available for purchase in the Park. Be sure to bring water and sun screen. Many of the attractions and shows stop admitting guests prior to the Park's official closing time. Attractions that you may enter up until the very last minute include Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, "The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror?", The Great Movie Ride, Jim Henson's Muppet*Vision 3-D, and Star Tours. Having a poncho, umbrella or light raincoat might be a good idea, too. With so much to see and do at the Walt Disney World® Resort, we encourage you to wear casual clothes and comfortable shoes.
For a full-service meal, make priority seating arrangements when you arrive at the Park at either Guest Relations or the desired
eatery. Or make advance plans by calling 407-WDW-DINE (939-3463). Remember to drink plenty of liquids during your visit. Don't forget the Backlot Tour featuring flash floods, fire and plenty of behind-the-scenes movie magic. There are two ATMs at Disney's Hollywood Studios™: one just outside the Park entrance and one inside Toy Story Pizza Planet. Don't forget to bring your autograph book to Mickey Avenue at Disney's Hollywood Studios™ where you can find your favorite characters. Look for the Disney photographer at the entrance to the Park to get that magical memory of your day at Disney's Hollywood Studios™.
If your party decides to split up, remember to set a meeting place and time. But try not to pick any place too trafficked or it may be difficult to find your party. The shops on Hollywood Boulevard are open a half hour past Park closing. Check the Studios "tip board" on the corner of Sunset and Hollywood Boulevards for daily show times and updated wait times. Check the Disney's Hollywood Studios™ Times Guide for show times and Park hours. Be sure to keep your ticket and have your hand stamped upon exiting the Park if you wish to return later the same day.
Measure your child's height before you arrive at the Park so you know which attractions he or she is able to ride. Study a map of the Park prior to your arrival to become familiar with the location of the attractions you are most interested in. Many Disney Cast Members are fluent in more than one language. The flags on their nametags indicate which languages they speak. Take advantage of Disney's FASTPASS® service. You can enjoy the rest of the park while FASTPASS saves your place in line.
