"Atmospehere! Dine with giraffes next to an
African Savannah, enjoy excellent food, service and an extensive wine list at this very popular restaurant."

"We dined at Jiko in September 2005. It was by far our best Disney dining experience. Our server was extraordinary He was attentive and knowledgeable. They are also flexible, and will substitute sides if requested. I had a glass of South
African wine and my son tried an
African beer. Both were excellent. We ordered the Kalamata Flatbread for an appetizer and it was wonderful. There were three of us and our entrees were as follows: seared scallops (me), tenderloin with mac and cheese (my daughter-in-law) and a halibut dish (my son); he didn't care for the side that came with the dish and was able to substitute. I had the Pistachio Creme Brulee for dessert. It was the best dessert I have had in a long time! If you go, take a walk around the resort first and look at the animals, etc. I can't wait to return."

"We ate at Jiko's in Animal kingdom Lodge on Sun day evening, December 28, 2003. We had a party of 10 and had an absolutely perfect experience. We had several different appetizers, including Kalamata Flatbread and the Coffee Chicken Flat Bread and the Tomato and Red Onion Salad, and all were superb. Next we tried several entrees including the scallops in a bag and the filet on macaroni and cheese. They were perfect. The filet was so tender it could be cut with a fork. We will definitely eat there again when we return in July 2005. Thanks for a delightful beginning to our stay at WWD."
