Wilderness enthusiasts seeking close proximity to the magic kingdom park in lake buena vista, fla., will discover this rustic lodging just two miles away at disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. The hotel is five miles from downtown disney, six miles from epcot center and seven miles from disney-mgm studios. Disney's animal kingdom is 11 miles away and orlando international airport is 15 miles from the hotel. Guests can enjoy boat rides to and from the magic kingdom park.
Guests coast through a drive-thru check in area and prepare for activities such as canoeing, kayaking, fishing and biking. Evenings bring campfires with marshmallows roasts, sing-alongs and disney movies. Two trading post general stores sell snacks and beverages. Swimmers and sunbathers will enjoy two outdoor pools. Guests may also set up camp within steps of comfort stations, featuring air-conditioning, private showers, laundry facilities, and ice machines.

Guests of the Resort are eligible for complimentary disney's magical express service. Motor coaches take guests from orlando international airport to the Resort hotel.
