Location. In the heart of Tampa, just 3 miles from the airport and 5 miles from downtown, the Intercontinental Hotel Tampa is convenient to various Tampa attractions. The hotel is located in the Westshore Business and Shopping district, just one mile from Tampa International Plaza and five miles from Gulf coast beaches. br>Hotel Features. The hotel is connected to the Urban Center office complex by two dramatic 11 story atriums surrounded by an oasis of tropical foliage. Complimentary parking is available. Guests seeking evening relaxation enjoy martinis at Shula's No Name Lounge. Shula's Steakhouse serves three meals daily and Caffe coffee lounge is located on the lobby level. The hotel offers complimentary wireless Internet access, event catering and 17, 000 square feet of meeting space. A sundeck, roof top outdoor heated pool and lounge chairs are located on the hotel's ninth floor and offer panoramic views of Tampa Bay. Exercise routines are maintained in the on site fitness center, containing a helpful mélange of circuit trainers.

Guestrooms. Contemporary guestrooms feature pillow top mattresses, premium bedding and armchairs with ottomans.
