While Coca-Cola was first served at a small pharmacy soda fountain near Underground Atlanta, it is now served over 1 billion times a day and is enjoyed in over 200 countries across the globe. Come discover the history of this global brand. We look forward to welcoming you soon! On June 1, 2005, we broke ground for the new World of Coca-Cola. This next generation corporate attraction will be built on 20 acres in the heart of downtown Atlanta adjacent to Centennial Olympic Park.

Out of these 20 acres, nine have been donated by The Coca-Cola Company for the Georgia Aquarium. It will be a gathering place for residents and visitors to Atlanta and serve as another cornerstone of the revitalization efforts occurring throughout the area including the nearby Georgia Aquarium. Located just a few blocks away from The Coca-Cola Company's worldwide headquarters, the 20 acre destination will open at the end of this year with the opening of the Georgia Aquarium. Subsequently, in the summer of 2007 the site will be completed with the opening of the new World of Coca-Cola and an open and inviting green space linking the two attractions.
