Location. The Gastonian is located in Savannah, Ga. The inn is two blocks from Forsyth Park and one mile from City Market's shopping and dining venues. Riverfront Plaza is less than two miles away.
Features. Built in 1868, the Gastonian features two Italianate style mansions surrounded by formal gardens, mature trees and wisteria vine draped arbors. The inn's exterior features covered porches and tall narrow windows with shutters. Inside, crystal chandeliers hang from high ceilings, while oriental rugs soften hardwood floors. The inn offers a menu of complimentary breakfast entrees, including poached eggs atop grilled tomatoes and creamed spinach on toast with onion cream sauce. Complimentary afternoon receptions feature appetizers and wine. Evenings, the inn serves desserts and beverages in the parlor.
