Sheraton Waikiki

Location. Positioned on two acres along Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, Hawaii, the Sheraton Waikiki stands adjacent to the 100 boutique shops of the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center. The International Market Place is located one block from the hotel.
Hotel Features. On site dining includes the 30th floor HanoHano Room that boasts skyline views and regional cuisine, stocks an extensive wine selection, and hosts live evening jazz. The Cobalt Lounge stands adjacent to The HanoHano Room and offers happy hours and live DJ performances. RumFire serves Spanish and island influenced tapas plates. Rums are flown in from around the world, and the resident mixologist creates drinks unique to the restaurant. Ingredients is a chic deli that prepares paninis, sandwiches and salads. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel's public areas including the business center. The hotel includes boutique shops, beach games and a supervised children's program that offers indoor and outdoor activities. The Dolphin Connection program allows guests to interact directly with the dolphins from the local Sea Life Park. Other recreational amenities include a 24 hour fitness center with cardiovascular equipment, and two outdoor pools with poolside bar service.

Guestrooms.This 31 story hotel offers 1, 636 contemporary guestrooms with private mountain and ocean view furnished balconies. Rooms feature flat screen televisions and high speed Internet access for a fee. Sheraton Sweet Sleeper beds include feather/down pillows, 230 thread count sheets and fleece blankets. Bathrooms contain bathrobes and slippers, and are stocked with Bliss toiletries. Rooms include coffeemakers and refrigerators. Complimentary in room safes are laptop compatible.

Expert Tip. Live entertainment abounds at the Sheraton Waikiki, with nightly dances at Espirit, the only beachfront club in Waikiki. Renowned island entertainers performed native music at my table and poolside every evening as part of the Flavors of Island Music campaign that celebrates native history.
