Experience out of this world thrills on Six Flags Great America's racing wooden coaster - American Eagle - where front is back, back is front and the usual coaster rules do not apply as guests can take on the double-tracked racer facing forward or backward! Riders start off by choosing which direction they'd like to face-Red Track is facing forward and a favorite with the wary...Blue Track is facing backward and geared towards those extreme thrill-seekers. Once the decision is made, guests begin the journey up nearly 150 feet before plunging down the first vertical drop, swooping into a giant helix and traveling over a series of hills.
