RamadaLocation. The Ramada Northwest is located in Des Moines, Iowa, along Interstates 35 and 80. The hotel is three miles from the Iowa National Guard's Camp Dodge and four miles from Drake University. The downtown area, including the Civic and Convention Centers, are 10 miles from the hotel.
Hotel Features. The Ramada Northwest features a modern lobby area with black leather seating and retro style lighting. The on site restaurant serves breakfast. The hotel offers an indoor pool and a cardiovascular fitness room. Complimentary wireless Internet access is provided throughout the hotel, and meeting space for up to 250 guests is available. Pets are allowed for a fee.

Guestrooms. Guestrooms at the Ramada Northwest include spacious suites and connecting rooms with desks and plush chairs. Private baths offer complimentary toiletries. Coffeemakers are provided. Amenities include cable television, video game consoles and complimentary wireless Internet access.

Expert Tip. Seven miles from the hotel, the Living History Farms in Urbandale, Iowa, tells how Iowans transformed fertile prairies of the Midwest into the most productive farmland in the world. On site interpreters provide a unique learning experience including seasonal activities and demonstrations.
Renovation Notice:
The hotel is currently undergoing renovations throughout the property. Beginning July 1, 2008, the fitness center, pool, spa tub, restaurant and laundry facilities will be closed for renovations. The estimated completion date for all renovations is December 31, 2008. These dates are subject to change.
