Block-Keller House

Location. The Block Keller House is located on Canal Street in the mid city area of New Orleans, La. The house stands along a streetcar line, affording this bed and breakfast easy access to the French Quarter, Garden District and the Mississippi River. City Park, which is home to the New Orleans Museum of Art, New Orleans Botanical Gardens and the Bayou Oaks Golf Course, is one mile away.
Features. Tucked beneath 100 year old oak trees, this Neo Classical style bed and breakfast offers a front porch and an double parlor furnished with fine antiques. Complimentary continental breakfasts are served each morning in the dining room, which features high mahogany wainscoting and stained glass. Conference rooms, and fax and photocopy services are provided. The home is furnished with family heirlooms, ancestral photographs and artifacts left by former residents or collected during the innkeepers' travels. The backyard of the inn offers gardens and an old ruin of a fountain that has been converted into a sunken patio. Pets are not allowed at this property.
