The Whitney Hotel is located in the central business district. The Hotel embraces its former life as a banking institution, with an enormous vault that now serves as the focus for events and private dining. The registration desk includes the original teller cases. On the dining front, the Whitney is home to the getaway cafe, offering traditional american fare.
Decorated in traditional french themes, pecan and caramel colors and painted walls rather than standard wallpaper, the 93 guestrooms feature raised beds with pillow-top mattresses, bath and body works bath amenities, custom bed linens, work desks, ergonomic chairs and shower massages. Guests also can work out in the Hotel's fitness center, get work done with the Whitney's business services and surf the internet in the lobby with wireless access.
