Location. The Omni Detroit Hotel River Place is located in Detroit, Mich., on the banks of the Detroit River, across which lies the city of Windsor, Ontario. Ford Field, Joe Louis Arena, and Comerica Park are all within two miles. American and Canadian casinos are within five miles of the property.
Hotel Features. Decorated in the style of a European boutique hotel, the Omni Detroit Hotel River Place's reception area includes dark wood furnishings and a fireplace. Fender's Tavern provides plasma televisions and a billiards table, while the menu offers appetizers, salads, sandwiches and steaks. In season, Fender's guests dine on the waterfront patio, which features views of the river walk. The fitness center includes cardiovascular equipment and free weights.
