WestinLocation. Once a prestigious World War II bank building, The Westin Minneapolis houses its original old world elegance with a pristine and simplistic air. A quarter mile from the Twin City sites of the Orpheum Theatre and the Target Center, this hotel is also conveniently one half mile from the Minneapolis Convention Center in downtown Minneapolis, Minn. Within three miles of the hotel are the Walker Art Center and Sculpture Garden and the University of Minnesota.
Hotel Features. Connected directly to the city's 7 mile skyway system, the 34 foot original bank lobby is also home to the BANK restaurant's modern cuisine and oval shaped bar.
