Location. The tropical themed Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino is located on the south end of The Strip in Las Vegas, Nev. The hotel is connected via the Mandalay Place shops to the Luxor Hotel.
Hotel Features. The lobby at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino features a quiet check in distanced from the casino, with marble floors, square columns and an aquarium. STRIPSTEAK, the Michael Mina eatery, features purple lounging chairs, blue sectional sofas and A5 Kobe steak flown in from Japan. "Wine angels" ascend to pluck choice wines from a four story wine tower at Aureole. The Event Center hosts Mandalay Bay Fights, USC, conventions and various concerts with a capacity of 13, 000 people. Real California white sand cushions toes at the Mandalay Beach, where a wave pool produces up to six feet tall waves. The Beach Concert Series, a seasonal weekend performance, features live entertainment staged over the wave pool. An adults only, topless beach, Moorea, occupies a secluded spot near the pool area. Spa Mandalay pampers guests with massage treatments, a redwood sauna, a eucalyptus steam room, a cold plunge pool, clothing optional spa tubs and a 30, 000 square foot fitness center.

Guestrooms. Guestrooms reflect minimalist décor and feature contemporary artwork, backlit headboards, sectional couches and white shuttered closets. Wireless Internet access is available for a fee. The 42 inch plasma televisions and MP3 adaptors are standard amenities. Bathrooms feature stone vanities, double sinks and MPulse toiletries. Frosted windows overlook separate marble soaking tubs in select bathrooms. Bathrooms feature flat screen televisions and telephones.

Expert Tip. Imbibe with a high tech twist at the eyecandy sound lounge & bar. Select tables feature MP3 docking stations from which guests can fire song requests to the DJ. Using interactive, multi touch tables, guests may create visuals and messages, as well as project images onto screens located above the dance floor.
