Bryant Park 3 Star

Bryant Park
Bryant Park (after the poet and editor of the New York Evening Post, William Cullen Bryant (1794-1878), is only 8-acres, it reopened in April, 1992, to lavish praise from citizens and visitors, the media, and urbanists. And, as the Urban Land Institute wrote it in an award citation, "the success of the park feeds the success of the neighborhood" - America's first World's Fair, the Crystal Palace Exhibition, was held here in 1853-54. The New York Chess Society palys here in good weather, in February and September the New York fashion shows are held here too.
