6 Columbus designed by steven sclaroff is visually evocative of the mod 1960s design shot through with 21st century sensibility. Teak and chrome are the materials used in the furnishings with an overall sense of sleekness prevailing. 6 Columbus is an intimate upscale and hip boutique Hotel bringing the downtown soho feel of its sister property 60 Thompson to the upper west side of manhattan. Each of the Hotels 88 rooms feature a flat panel plasma tvs i-pod alarm clock wireless and broadband internet connections spa amenities by fresh iron and ironing board minibar amenities by dean and deluca and custom made 400 threadcount linens by sferra. All rooms feature artwork from one of the world's most respected fashion photographers, guy bourdin representative of the 60s. -this property was built in 1920 renovated in 2007

From Boston/Connecticut/Rhode Island Take I-95 South New York City. Follow Directions To The George Washington Bridge. Take The Last Exit Before The Bridge To The Henry Hudson Parkway South. Take This Into Manhattan, Exit At 56th Street, Bearing To Your Left. Go Straight One Block. At The First Traffic Light, Make A Right Onto 11th Avenue And Go North Toward 57th Street. Proceed On 11th Avenue And Continue For One Block. Turn Right Onto 58th Street Proceed Three Blocks To The Hotel Entrance, Which Will Be Located On Your Right. From New Jersey/Pennsylvania/Newark Airport Take The New Jersey Turnpike To The Lincoln Tunnel To Manhattan. When Exiting The Tunnel, Follow The Signs Leading North-Uptown. Take 10th Avenue North To 58th Street. Make A Right Onto 58th Street And Head East Two Blocks To The Hotel Entrance, Which Will Be Located On Your Right. From Jfk Airport Take The Belt Parkway West To The Gowanas/Bqe To The Brooklyn Battery Tunnel. Bear To Your Right Exiting The Tunnel, And Turn Right Onto West Street. Go North Until West 56th Street, At This Exit Turn Right. Proceed To 10th Avenue And Make A Right Onto 10th Avenue. Go Two Blocks North To 58th Street, And Make A Right Onto 58th Street. Proceed 2 Blocks To The Hotel Entrance, Which Will Be Located On Your Right. From Laguardia Airport Take The Grand Central Parkway West To The Triborough Bridge To Manhattan. Take The Harlem River Drive Exit To The Fdr At 60th Street, Head West To 5th Avenue And Make A Left. Travel One Block To Central Park South And Make A Right. Continue To 7th Avenue And Make A Left.
