location. the Kitano Hotel in New York city, n.Y., brings an authentic asian presence to prestigious park avenue in midtown manhattan. Met life tower and grand central station are four blocks away, and the empire state building and times square are within seven blocks of the Hotel. The Kitano Hotel is part of the murray hill neighborhood, nestled among brownstones, 19th-century mansions and other historic buildings, southwest of park avenue and 38th street.

Original artwork can be found throughout the Hotel, including a sculpture from famed columbian artist fernando botero. The Hotel offers complimentary limousine shuttle service to wall street on weekdays, and personal limousine or town car service may be arranged. Conference space is available. The Hotel's bar, serving rare sake imports, overlooks the lobby and park avenue from a bright second-floor mezzanine. The on-site restaurant, nadaman habukai, serves beautifully arranged japanese cuisine in a contemporary setting.
