location. the Hotel Metro stands in a convenient midtown manhattan location, surrounded by new york city's garment district. This Hotel's rooftop terrace also offers views of the empire state building, which is one block away. Macy's is within one block of the Hotel, while madison square garden and penn station are both three blocks away.
hotel features. the Hotel Metro's art deco lobby is enhanced with black and white photographs of actors from hollywood's golden era. The independently operated Hotel was opened in 1901, but has been updated to include modern amenities, including complimentary internet access. Tea and coffee are offered in the guest lounge, and complimentary continental breakfasts are served daily. The guest lounge also features a sitting area, library and plasma television.
