Location. The Soho Grand Hotel is located on the Lower East Side of New York, N.Y. The shopping and art of SoHo is one block from the hotel, along with the Cast Iron Historic District. Little Italy is five blocks away.
Hotel Features. With a nod to the past, the SoHo Grand Hotel's lobby features a suspended cast iron stairway to the second floor and is cutting edge chic, with 16 foot windows draped with muslin and velvet, a mercury glass ceiling unexpectedly accented with chicken wire and upholstered pieces in a mix of textiles. Commissioned works by SoHo artists are displayed throughout the hotel and the guestrooms, and some works are available for purchase. An ever changing art display in the high ceilinged dining room of The Gallery accents New American cuisine. The Grand Bar & Lounge boasts tall windows, copper tables, bronze mirrors and antique light fixtures.

Guestrooms. This 18 story hotel's 363 guestrooms feature decor inspired by the Arts & Crafts Movement. Beds with chocolate colored leather headboards are covered with Italian Frette linens and silk bedspreads. Bathrooms recall old New York with ceramic wall tiles, grey and white hexagonal floor tiles, and pedestal sinks accented by Malin & Goetz toiletries. Amenities include iPods, DVD players, a specially selected CD library and wireless Internet access for a fee.
