MarriottLocation. Marriott Charlotte City Center is located in the second largest banking center of the United States, Uptown Charlotte, N.C., just six miles from Charlotte Douglas International Airport and next door to the Bank of America's corporate headquarters and the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center. The Discovery Place Science Museum/IMAX Theatre and the Charlotte Convention Center are within five blocks of the property. Ray's Splash Planet Water Park is less than one mile from the property and Paramount Carowinds Theme Park is less than 15 miles away.

Hotel Features.Decorated with gold, red, brown and plants throughout the lobby, the hotel boasts four dining options. The Savannah Red Restaurant and Bar offers a mix including Southern style cuisine along with limited edition wines. Championship Sports Bar and Restaurant provides casual fare for lunch and dinner, flat screen televisions and video gaming. Cutters Lounge serves spirits including bourbon and scotch selections while Starbucks is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Marriott Charlotte City Center provides complimentary wireless Internet access in the on site business center. Secretarial services and 20, 000 square feet of meeting space are available on site. The hotel hosts a fitness center and an indoor pool.
