LeadingLocation. The Umstead Hotel and Spa is nestled against a three acre lake and located in Cary, N.C., adjacent to Umstead State Park. RBC Center sits three miles from the six story hotel. Four miles from the property is the North Carolina Museum of Art.
Hotel Features. Herons' restaurant menu features regional selections for breakfast and dinner, and serves lunch on the weekends. Dining is available amid a soft, amber lit environment in the Bar at Herons where flat screen televisions line the bar and an outdoor terrace overlooks a lake. The Umstead Hotel and Spa hosts a full service spa with private treatment rooms, saunas, spa tubs, steam rooms and a café. A heated outdoor pool includes fountains, a shallow lounging area and pool bar. The hotel's lakeside terrace showcases an outdoor fireplace.
