Taft Museum

The Taft Museum of Art is known as one of the finest small art museums in America. A National Historic Landmark built in about 1820, the Taft is home to nearly 700 works of art, including European and American master paintings; Chinese porcelains; and European decorative arts.

The Taft Museum of Art's collections include the following, housed in the Baum-Longworth-Taft House, a National Historic Landmark built around 1820 in the Palladian style - 103 European old master paintings, 54 19th-century American paintings, 224 Chinese ceramics and works of art, 264 European decorative arts, 50 17th- through 19th-century watches, 12 European and American sculptures, 39 pieces of early-19th-century American furniture.
