The vision for The King Arts Complex is to serve as a Greater Columbus resource providing all citizens the opportunity to be educated, exposed, entertained and enriched by the history of the African-American experience and the contributions of African-Americans, past and present.

People of all colors, creeds, economic status, religion, and age. will feel welcomed and comfortable, with a greater understanding and respect for those of diverse cultures, specifically African-Americans. The Complex will have credibility as a vital cultural and community resource, providing relevant, engaging, and fun educational opportunities for both children and adults. Institutionally, we envision a stable organization with endowments, adequate earned income, capital funds and continued private and public sector support.
