Opened in September 1999, the Gatlinburg Towers are one half mile from downtown Gatlinburg and less than two miles from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. There are four world famous museums within a mile of the Gatlinburg Towers, including Ripley's Believe It or Not, Guinness Book of World Records, Star Cars, and the World of Illusions. Guests can stop into ice cream and pizza parlors, restaurants featuring ethnic cuisine, fast food joints, and novelty pancake and waffle houses, all within walking distance.
The resort features an indoor pool and hot tub housed in a glass atrium, perfect for a winter getaway or a summer break. Lounge chairs are available for guests' use, and the area is accented with potted plants.

Gatlinburg Towers' two bedroom condominium suites feature fully equipped kitchens with microwave oven, refrigerator, coffeemaker, toaster, dishes and utensils. Each bedroom offers one queen size bed and the living area has a sleeper sofa. Guests can also enjoy cable television and a cozy gas fireplace in the living area.
