André 3000 Tickets
Perhaps best known as one-half of the iconic hip-hop duo Outkast, André 3000 is an Atlanta-born singer, songwriter, producer, actor and, most notably, one of the greatest rappers of all time. After Outkast disbanded in 2007, André 3000 has appeared in various remixes and original tracks as a featured artist, working with artists like Jay-Z, Ciara, Chris Brown, Kesha, Beyoncé, Erykah Badu and many more. In his feature on “Solo (Reprise)” by Frank Ocean which was released in 2016, André 3000 expressed some disappointment with the direction hip-hop had taken, perhaps hinting at his decision to branch into other genres with his solo work.
His first solo studio album, New Blue Sun, showcases his work as a flutist as he collaborates with other artists for an ambient, jazz-infused release. A track from that album, "I Swear, I Really Wanted to Make a 'Rap' Album But This Is Literally the Way the Wind Blew Me This Time," beat out Tool’s "Fear Inoculum" for the Billboard Hot 100’s lengthiest track spot. After a decade away from touring, André 3000 returned to the stage in 2024 to promote this critically acclaimed debut solo venture.
