Arctic Monkeys Tickets

English rock band Arctic Monkeys had an interesting beginning with the rise of the Internet. Demos burned to CDs that had been given away for free after local shows made their way online and the band's fans created a popular MySpace page for the band that they were unaware of until much later. With very little marketing, the band became the first independent-label band to debut at No. 1 in the UK with their first five albums. International success followed the release of their critically acclaimed fifth album, AM, which topped four Billboard charts and was certified platinum in the US, largely due to the popular hit singles "R U Mine?" and "Do I Wanna Know?". The band has dabbled in a variety of sounds across genres but is largely regarded as indie rock with a sultry blues influence.
