Filipino-English singer-songwriter beabadoobee had seven years of violin lessons to her name before she began to learn guitar from YouTube videos. Her first single "Coffee" went viral on Youtube and then TikTok, and she signed with Dirty Hit Records in 2018. She has served as a supporting act for labelmates The 1975 and Clairo and continues to expand upon her frank and delicate guitar confessionals with the addition of folk, Latin and psych-rock influences.
