Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ben Harper began playing guitar as a child, heavily influenced by his grandparents’ music store and listening to blues, folk, soul, R&B and reggae. Harper’s music career began in 1992 when he scored a lifetime deal with Virgin Records and really gained momentum in 1999 following the release of his album Burn to Shine. Known for captivating live performances, impressive guitar skills and his activist mindset, Harper has had the opportunity to collaborate and tour with an impressive list of artists including Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer and Charlie Musselwhite.
