Panthers Team Overview
Founded in 1995, the Carolina Panthers are an NFL team participating in the National Football Conference South division. The newest team in the NFC, they are the only professional football team in North Carolina and represent South Carolina as well. Even in their short history, they've won six division championships, two conference championships and had eight playoff appearances, including two Super Bowls. Division rivals include the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons.
Last year, the team went 2-15 and placed 4th in the NFC division. Heading into 2024, the Panthers are now led by new head coach Dave Canales.

The Panthers stadium is based in Charlotte, NC. The Bank of America Stadium holds nearly 75,000 seats and has hosted the Panthers' home games since 1996.
