Where to Get Your Summertime Disney World S'mores Fix!

by Ashley Metz on July 28, 2015 9 Orlando

Wahoo! Summer is here and the livin’  is easy. I don’t know about you, but I love summer. Laid back days, late nights, summer vacations and summer foods are here. There’s no better place to enjoy all these summer favorites than Disney World. Today, we’re taking a look at one of my favorite summer dining treats … the ooeey gooey irresistible deliciousness of S’mores! Let’s take a look at my favorite places to get this American favorite at Disney World. Grab a seat around the fire, we’re going to get things heated up!

Chip n’ Dale's Campfire Fire Singalong at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort

Smores at Disney World - Chip and Dale's Campfire Sing-along

Smores at Disney World - Chip and Dale's Campfire Sing-A-LongBYOS (Bring Your Own S’mores) or buy a S’mores kit at the Meadow Training Post (located at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort) for a fun and free night of campfires and sweet songs with Chip n’ Dale. That’s right, around 8 p.m. each evening, you can saddle up with your favorite pals and enjoy some good old-fashioned fun. Prepare for a free night of fun with your little ones (no kidding … even if you aren’t staying at Fort Wilderness, and no theme park tickets needed)! Chip n’ Dale will sing some campfire classics with you and even sign autographs and take pictures after the show is over. Cute friends or Mickey and a sweet snack on the cheap … what could be better?

S’more in a cup at  Starbucks

Smores at Disney World - Starbucks Frapuccino

I know you can find Starbucks just around every corner, but I say when at Disney, enjoy a Disneyfide — technical term friends — Starbucks cup of joe! Why not enjoy a delicious take on S’mores as you walk through the parks? What could go better with summer than an icy cold take on this campfire concoction? That’s right, enjoy a delightfully chilling s’mores frappuccino courtesy of the in-park Starbuck stops!

S’more Cupcake

S'mores Cupcake at Disney's Wilderness Lodge

What’s not to love about a cupcake? Cakey goodness covered in a literal mountain of frosting! There’s very little that I’ll turn my nose up to in the world of cupcakes. You can bet the s’more cupcake selection throughout the parks is one to take you back to the days of summer camp. Stop by one of the various bakery counters or find a few specialty offerings in select dining spots. The best I hear is available at the Roaring Fork in Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, complete with a moist, graham cracker crust, a chocolate surprise in the center, finished off with a gooey marshmallow frosting, and toasted to perfection with a piece of chocolate adorning the top. This makes for a new and interesting taste on this beloved summer treat.

I hope I’ve given you a good list of go to options to help you get “s’more” out of your time in the parks this summer. What are your favorite summer food memories that you keep coming back to Disney year after year? Watermelon, slushies, hotdogs, what’s your poison? Share with us in the comment section below.

As always, thanks for reading and joining the conversation below! Until next time, keep it magical!

We are thinking of going to the Hoop- Dee- Doo dinner and that since we were at the Wilderness hotel we would try to go to the Chip and Dale's campfire. We do not have transportation, so is there transportation from the lodge to the campground?

Hi Jenny,

You can take the water taxi from Disney's Wilderness Lodge to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. You can also take a bus!

Keep hopping!

I noticed this article states in it's title, that Chip n' Dales' Campfire Sing-a-long is at Fort Wilderness Lodge!!!!!! The correct location for this activity is "The Fort Wilderness Campground". I realize that the Lodge and Campground often get mixed up with each other as their titles are so similar, however, people that are first-timers or people that don't know the DWD resorts and parks like us veterans of Disney may very well end up going to the wrong location and then they'll miss out on a rollicking good time. Don't mean to be picky just thought I could help a little.

Thank you for your wonderful site. I am learning a lot about Disney World. I am from Canada and will be taking my family for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party from Oct. 24th - 31st. in Orlando. Does the resort host the Chip N' Dale Camp Fire Singalong during my travel dates?

Thank you again for providing all your tips/tricks/info.

Sincerely,

Jennifer Lee

Thanks - Do you have to be staying at a Disney resort to go? We are staying offsite but would love to go the day we fly in.

Hi Gina,

I'm assuming you're talking about the sing-along. You do not need to be staying on-site. It's a great treat!
